The government has revealed details of its National Economic Recovery Plan.
As part of the measures, the pandemic unemployment payment will be phased out.
That process will get underway in September, with the last PUP payments to be made on February 8th, 2022.
The Department of Social Protection will stop accepting new applicants from July 1st, while students will only be able to avail of the PUP until September 7th.
The Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme is being extended until December 31st, 2021.

Businesses in the sector will be able to avail of the lower 9% VAT rate until September of next year.
