Demonstrators have gathered outside the Dail calling for an end to maternity restrictions, which are in place due to Covid-19.
Protestors are calling for hospital guidelines to be changed to allow partners to attend all scans.
Health minister Stephen Donnelly has previously said these measures should be removed, restrictions remain in place at many hospitals.

"I was a high-risk pregnancy and he was at nothing. Absolutely nothing. Had to go for an emergency c-section - it was quite traumatic," said one woman who was attending the demonstation in Dublin today.
"It's such a significant life event - you're at one of your most vulnerable points, and to do it on your own is really tough. I can't understand why it's still going on", said another demonstrator.
