The operator of Dublin Airport has until this morning to present a plan to government for avoiding further long delays for passengers.
More than 1,000 missed flights after huge queue's formed at check-in, bag drop and security on Sunday, with people left waiting hours before even entering the terminal buildings.

It has led to fears of further delays over the coming bank holiday weekend, with 100,000 expected to pass through each day.
Eoghan O’Mara the Chief Executive at Irish Tourism Industry Confederation says a firm plan is needed to ensure Ireland's reputation isn't damaged by the scenes.
"A lot of those [who missed their flight due to delays] were tourists returning home."
"Scenes like last weekend simply aren't acceptable.".
The ITIC boss says a plan is needed ahead of this weekend and before the summer season gets into full swing in the coming weeks.
