It's emerged that the Central Remedial Clinic has paid millions of euro to the Mater Hospital to administer a pensions fund that doesn't exist.
The CRC has paid the Mater over 1.3 million euro in the last two years, despite the fact that the Mater has virtually no role in administering the voluntary pension scheme.
Paul Kiely - who told the Public Accounts committee he has now resigned as a director - says he was unable to break the link while he was the clinic's CEO.
