Covid-19 is no longer a global health emergency, say the WHO.
Over three years ago it was declared an infectious disease of global concern.
"It's with great hope that I declare COVID-19 over as a global health emergency," said World Health Organisation Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
However, he added, "that does not mean COVID-19 is over as a global health threat."

Over three years ago, it was first detected in Wuhan in China and caused multiple lockdowns worldwide.
