The testing of close covid-19 contacts is to resume tomorrow, the HSE has confirmed.
The measure was suspended on New Year's Eve, as health authorities had reached full capacity for tests and had to prioritise people who had symptoms.
Close contacts of a confirmed case were not tested in this time and were told to restrict their movements.
However, this will end tomorrow with the testing of close contacts set to get back underway.
