Officials have announced three further coronavirus-related deaths and 10 new cases.
It takes the death toll in Ireland to 1,720 and the number of confirmed cases to 25,391.
The national total includes the denotification of two previously confirmed cases.
In a statement, the Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan said 404,989 tests had been carried out in Ireland by midnight on Monday.
Some 18,368 were carried out in the past week – with 97 coming back positive.
“While we now have a robust testing system in place, the success of this system is dependent on people isolating and coming forward to their GP as soon as they experience symptoms,” said Dr Holohan.
“Cough, fever, shortness of breath, change in smell or taste, flu like symptoms should be treated as COVID-19 until a GP assessment or test deems otherwise.
“If you are experiencing these symptoms, do not go to work or socialise. Self-isolate in your household and contact your GP by phone without delay.”
Ireland is due to begin Phase Three of reopening on Monday July 29th.
