Counting will resume this morning in the local elections across the country.
So far more than 200 councillors have been elected.
There's still more than 700 seats to be filled across the country.
Counting will also start in the European elections with the first results there not allowed to be declared until after 10o'clock this evening.
The general trends show us a good elections for the Greens, some gains for Fianna Fáil in Dublin, mixed results for Fine Gael and a pretty bad election for Sinn Fein
