Dublin's most famous nightclub Copper Face Jacks is for sale.
Owner Cathal Jackson has decided to retire.
The club, along with the Jackson Court Hotel, is on the market and for immediate sale by private treaty.
It's understood the Harcourt Street venue comes with a price tag of more than €40 million.
The company behind Copper Face Jacks recorded pre-tax profits of €4 million in 2017.
In a statement, Cathal Jackson said: "Over the past 23 years I have been totally committed to setting up and establishing Copper Face Jacks as one of the most enduring and successful entertainment venues in Ireland.
"It is now time to hand over the reins to new owners who have the energy and the expertise to take Coppers to the next level."
Selling agent Dermot Curtin of DC Curtin & Associates said "nothing remotely like this property and business has ever been offered to the market in recent times".
He added: “The opportunity to acquire both the iconic Coppers and the substantial Jackson Court Hotel is one of those projects that come to market once in a generation."
