Women's Aid says the conversation surrounding violence against women needs to continue but also needs to be broadened.
It comes as a 17-year-old girl was attacked while out for a walk near her home in Kilkenny on Monday afternoon.
Gardaí confirm they’re investigating the assault of a teenage girl in Kilkenny.
It happened just after midday near Johnstown.

It comes just weeks after the murder of 23-year-old Offaly school teacher Ashling Murphy, which sparked a nationwide conversation about violence against women.
"Unfortunately, we were reflecting on the most appalling manifestations of violence against women with the murder of Ashling Murphy," said the CEO of Women's Aid Sarah Benson.
"But the fact is - every single day there are countless acts of sexism and harassment and, near-misses."
