A contract has been awarded for the M20 Cork to Limerick Road Improvement Scheme.
Limerick City and County Council has appointed Barry Transportation, and its project partners WSP and Sweco have been appointed as Technical Advisors.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe say it's a major step forward for the road which will enhance links between Cork and Limerick.
Planning and design for the project will begin this month, with an extensive consultation process also to take place.
Limerick and Cork Chambers have welcomed the move by have called for the project to be prioritised in the national development plan.
Dee Ryan, CEO of Limerick Chamber says "The delivery of the M20 needs to be expediated as no other infrastructure project in the country can contribute so positively for so many."
