An Irish diplomat has visited the four members of an Irish family being held in Egypt.
The official from the Irish Embassy in Cairo met the Halawa siblings today - after they were detained when security forces stormed a mosque at the weekend.
Its being reported they have been jailed for 15 days - pending further investigations.
