Researchers dunked 17 of the most popular biscuits into cups of tea which were 70 to 75 degrees in temperature.
Jaffa cakes withstood 116 dunks before breaking.
Plain digestives were found to be the least suitable, only lasting for 6 dunks before crumbling.
Bourbons, shortbread and hobnobs also featured in the top 5 in the list compiled by TopRated Casinos.
