A government spokesperson has confirmed Confirmations, Communions and Baptisms are suspended.
There had been confusion after Tanaiste Leo Varadkar said they were off.
At the same time, there was no official update on the Government’s website.
A government spokesperson says the sacraments are all postponed.
It follows NPHET advice over the Delta variant and the government spokesperson says the website will be updated soon.
Guests at weddings however can increase to 50 from July 5th.
