Some parents are finding needles in the gym bags of their teenage sons who are taking steroids, according to an addiction counsellor.
Nicole Ryan says a number of parents have contacted her with concerns over their child's steroid use.
She says there is pressure on boys to look a certain way:
"It's girls as well, but it's more so boys than girls who take the steroids.
"They're seeing people who are really fit and really muscular and they want to emulate that, and they want to be just like them."
