A new report is raising concerns about the level of qualifications among childcare workers.
The latest Growing Up in Ireland study from the ESRI says many people who care for nine month old babies are not qualified enough.
The Economic and Social Research Institute says that while qualifications are higher among crèche workers, ts low by international standards.
