Two restaurants and a grocery shop were ordered to close last month after rodent droppings were found by food safety authority inspectors.
The Food Safety Authority issued the closure orders to Kebabish Tandoori in Dublin 8, China City of Temple Street in Sligo, and Eurospar in Kinnegad, Westmeath.
Fresh droppings were found on the floor of the rear wash up area of Kebabish Tandoori with uncovered food stored closeby.

At the Kinnegad EuroSpar, Food safety inspectors found "Rodent droppings were visible on the floor in the bakery storage area, on shelving in the bakery storage area, on the floor in the rear bakery kitchen and on the floor in the adjoining lobby area".
Meanwhile, at the China City restaurant in Sligo it was found that "There were many black elongated rodent droppings in a line on the floor just under the door of the cupboard on the right. There were also black
elongated rodent droppings on a flat cardboard box located on the bottom of the cupboard."
The Halal Food and Grocery shop in Dublin 22 was served a Prohibition Order after it re-vacuum packed some mincemeat incorrectly said it had a shelf life of up to 26 days.
A Camile Thai restaurant in Tallaght Co. Dublin was also issued with a fine by the HSE for not providing a customer with the correct allergy information.
