Vaccinated close contacts of confirmed Covid-19 cases will get 5 antigen tests in the post to self-test themselves every second day.
More than two million DIY home kits are ready to be sent out over the coming months.

It's hoped they'll play a greater role in tackling rising infection rates, in a major change to the procedures surrounding testing of close contacts
According to the HSE 's National Lead for Testing and Tracing, Niamh O'Beirne, if you have symptoms and are a close contact of someone with the virus you must take a PCR test.
If you are a close contact with no symptoms then you'll be sent a link to fill in your address.
From there, 5 antigen tests will be sent via the post every second day.
