The HSE will publish a rapid review into the latest CervicalCheck scandal this afternoon.
The HSE ordered a rapid review be undertaken by Professor Brian MacCraith after it was revealed that 800 women hadn't been told their CervicalCheck results because of a so-called IT glitch at a Quest Lab in the States.
The review looks at who knew what, and when, after confusion over when Health Minister Simon Harris and his officials were first told by the HSE.
New HSE chief Paul Reid ordered a rapid review after it was revealed on July 11th that the HSE and the Department of Health knew of the problem.
However, the Department of Health knew on June 25th that more than one person was affected.
Minister for Health Simon Harris has said he was first briefed on the issue on July 10th.
A new structure for CervicalCheck is expected to be announced following the review's publication this afternoon.
