The third most powerful man in the Catholic Church has been found guilty of child sexual abuse in Australia.
The Vatican's former treasurer Cardinal George Pell was convicted in December of assaulting two choirboys in Melbourne in 1996.
The verdict was kept secret for legal reasons - but can now be reported.
The 77 year old is the highest-ranking Catholic figure ever to receive such a conviction.
He's always maintained his innocence and faces up to 50 years in prison.
In 2016 he took indefinite leave from his his role as economy minister for the Vatican to fight the charges.
It comes after Pope Francis held a summit in the Vatican last week aimed at tackling child abuse within the Catholic Church.
