Thousands of Leaving Cert students are set to receive their first-round CAO offers today.
From 2 pm today, students will be able to log in to their online CAO account to see their offer.
There's concern inflated grades could lead to some students missing out on their preferred course, due to a lottery system.
However, around 75% of the 80,000 CAO applicants are expected to receive an offer of one of their top-three third-level course choices.
Some students could miss out on their first-choice due to to a random selection in high-demand courses.
Points for some third-level courses rose by an average of 60 points last year.
The number of H1s in subjects like Higher Level Maths has increased from 6.4% in 2019, to 18%.
