A coffee shop owner has implemented a dress code for customers after two turned up in their nightwear.
The Sage & Stone in Duleek in Co. Meath, says, "we welcome anyone and everyone who comes to dine wearing their own smart casual clothing. We welcome hard working people who come in their work gear as long as it is cleanish. However we draw the line at people coming to dine in our café for breakfast wearing their pyjamas."
The cafe's owner Ciara Burke, says her staff served breakfast to two women who were wearing their pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers.
She said the two women were going away on their holidays and on the way to the airport to travel to New York.
Although the women were 'very pleasant' Ms Burke said she's has now taken the step to ban sleepwear from her cafe and gift shop as 'there is a time and place for everything'.
