Vehicles, financial documents, and illicit cigarettes have been seized in an operation targeting a gang involved in ATM thefts across Meath, Cavan and Monaghan.
They were recovered this morning after the Criminal Assets Bureau searched 10 locations across the three counties.
A number of Garda units, including the Emergency Response Unit, assisted in the operation.
Over the course of the operation, a vehicle with a 162 registration was recovered, as well as illicit cigarettes, a laptop and financial and asset ownership documents.
A working fuel laundering plant was discovered, while evidence of offences relating to waste management was also collected.
CAB has described this morning's operation as a significant development in the investigation into the theft of ATM's.
