It involves four agencies - the Gardaí, Revenue Commissioners and the Departments of Justice and Social Protection.
Aontú leader Peadar Tóibín obtained the figures from the Minister for Justice. He says, "these are startling figures, and show a significant amount of cash and assets, uh, that have been seized from criminals. It also shows €60 million was recovered by CAB in relation to revenue and social welfare payments for that time as well."
