Busáras in Dublin is closed this morning following the death of a young man on Thursday night.
The pedestrian, aged in his 20s, died after he was struck at around 11.30pm at the junction of Amiens St and Store St, close to Busaras.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body has since been taken to the City Morgue at Whitehall.
Gardaí in Store Street are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
The area has been sealed off to allow Gardaí to carry out a forensic investigation.
Several bus routes have been redirected as a result of the closure of the bus station.
Luas Red Line services are only operating between Abbey Street and Tallaght/Saggart on Friday morning. Dublin Bus is accepting Luas tickets during the disruption.
Bus Éireanns says the changes are expected to be in place until approximately 12 noon on Friday afternoon but has warned arrangements may change suddenly depending on roads reopening.
The bus operator has apologised to passengers for any inconvenience caused.
