A British MP has died after he was stabbed multiple times while meeting constituents in Essex.
David Amess was a member of the Conservative Party
He was treated at the venue in Leigh-on-Sea - but died at the scene.
A 25-year-man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Labour MP Stephen Timms, who was stabbed at his constituency surgery in 2010 tweeted to say he is, "appalled to hear of the attack"

Police in Essex confirmed a man has been arrested.
A man has been arrested on suspicion murder after a man was stabbed in #LeighonSea.
We were called to Eastwood Road North shortly after 12.05pm.
Sadly, a man later died.
A man was arrested at the scene.
We are not looking for anyone else.

Mr Amess had served in the British Parliament since the early 80s.
