Britain's Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are in Ireland as part of a two day visit to celebrate peace between the two nations.
The royal couple were welcomed to the Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation in Co. Wicklow by President Michael D Higgins and his wife Sabina this afternoon, where they also met with students from both sides of the border.
The centre works with people who have been harmed by the legacy of the troubles.
Prince Charles previously visited Glencree in 2002.
The trip has been described as symbolic, at a time when the relationship between the two nations could change drastically post-Brexit.
Speaking in Enniskerry, the Prince of Wales said he loves to visit Ireland to remind himself of how much we depend on each other.
He said the UK and Ireland must continue to understand how much we mean to one another.
