Britain's Prince Andrew is to step back' from his public duties following the controversial interview about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.
He failed to say he regrets being close to the disgraced American financier who took his own life in a New York prison.
Prince Andrew also claimed that he was in a pizza restaurant on the night he is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old girl.
He says his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein has "become a major disruption to my family’s work and the valuable work going on in the many organisations and charities that I am proud to support."

Queen Elizabeth has this afternoon given permission for Prince Andrew to "step back from public duties for the foreseeable future."
In a statement, Prince Andrew says he 'unequivocally regrets' his association with the billionaire paedophile.
