Brexit Party MEPs turned their backs during the European Anthem at the opening session of the European Parliament this morning.
The 29 MEPs stood with their backs turned as the European anthem 'Ode to Joy' was played in Strasbourg.
11 of Ireland's 13 recently elected MEPs are taking their seats in the new European Parliament today.
Barry Andrews and Deirdre Clune will only take their seats if and when the UK leaves the EU.

Brexit Party MEPs turning their backs on Europe, as they do their best to isolate the UK from the world. This is petty, small minded little England at its worst. These plonkers do a proud and open nation a disservice. Shame on them. pic.twitter.com/Lbg1b9Gcbg
