Clare County Council has opened Books of Condolence for the late Michael Ryan.
Mr Ryan, of Lahinch, died yesterday after the Ethiopian Airlines plane he was on crashed.
The flight came down shortly after taking off from Addis Ababa.
All 157 passengers and crew on board were killed.
The President and Taoiseach have led the tributes to the father of two from Co. Clare.
