It's been confirmed that the body found this morning in Malaysia is that of 15 year old Nora Quoirin.
She had been missing for ten days from the holiday resort where she was staying with her family.
Nora's remains were discovered around 2 kilometres from the Dusun resort earlier today.
er parents identified the body at the morgue earlier and a post mortem will be carried out tomorrow.
The Lucie Blackman Trust, which is handling media enquiries for the family, released a statement earlier:

President Michael D Higgins has offered his condolences to the Quoirin family:
“Sabina and I offer our deepest condolences to Nóra’s parents, Meabh and Sebastien, to Nóra’s siblings and to her extended family."
"Our thoughts and prayers are now with Nóra’s family, at this most difficult time."
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has also expressed his sympathies:
