Birds Eye is recalling a batch of its chicken nuggets because it's feared they may contain small pieces of plastic.
The recall affects 790g packs of 'Birds Eye 50 Chicken Nuggets with Golden Wholegrain'.
The affected batches also have a 'best before' date of October 2020.
The Food Safety Authority says "The presence of plastic may make this product unsafe to eat."
It says point-of-sale notices will be displayed in affected retail store that are selling this product.
No other batch codes or Birds Eye products are known to be affected.
