Biggest salvage operation in history underway in Italy

Workers have begun to hoist upright the wrecked Costa Concordia cruise ship off the Italian island of Giglio.

The unprecedented operation, which was delayed by several hours by storms, began after a maritime exclusion zone was established around the site.

Its expected to take around 12 hours.
