The mastermind of the Oxford/AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine is being made into a Barbie doll.
Professor Sarah Gilbert has been named Role Model of the year by the brand, which wants to focus on the impact of the pandemic on children all over the world.
Toymaker Mattel will also create four other models of women within the science, technology, engineering and mathematics sectors.

She hopes by girls playing with dolls inspired by STEM careers.
"My wish is that my doll will show children careers they may not be aware of, like a Vaccinologist.”
