R and B singer R Kelly has appeared in court in Chicago, where a judge has set bail at one million dollars.
He's accused of sex attacks on four people, including three teenagers.
The allegations - which he denies - date back as far as 1998 and span more than a decade.
The singer's lawyer Steve Greenberg admits it's going to be tricky to raise the bail money.
