Sinn Féin's Lynn Boylan was dominant in the inner city but less so elsewhere and will finish a distant third with about 16 per cent of the vote.
The Greens will be disappointed with Claire Byrne's performance, tallied at 8 per cent of the vote.
But the big loser of the day is Fianna Fáil.
The tallies have Deirdre Conroy finishing with less than 5 per cent of the vote, down from 14 in the general election.
The first count is due here around 3pm.
