The average Irish income grew to €38,871 last year.
That's up 3.3% since 2017, new figures from the central statistics office show.

On average, full-time employees earned €47,596, while part- time workers earned an average wage of €17,651.
People working in the Information and Communication sector had the highest average income of €61,269.
That's followed by the financial, insurance and real estate sector at €58,578
