Experts in Australia say the country's landscape is being permanently changed by the wildfire crisis.
Work's underway on re-seeding burned areas to speed up forest recovery that could otherwise take decades, or even centuries.
But some scientists there say high temperatures, drought and more frequent bushfires may make it impossible for them to be fully restored.
