There have been two separate ATM thefts on both sides of the border.
In Kells, Co. Meath ATM thieves - who targetted two banks overnight.
Main Street is closed after a digger was used to rip the cash machine from the wall of AIB and Bank of Ireland at around 4am.
Initial reports suggest a JCB, tractor and a low loader are blocking the road.

Elsewhere in Crumlin, Co. Antrim, thieves targeted the local Tesco store which housed two machines - both of which were stolen using a stolen digger, tractor and a trailer.
Crumlin main street remains closed this morning.
It follows a spate of similar raids on both sides of the border in recent months.
