A number of families were evacuated from an apartment block in Athy Co Kildare last night after a fire broke out.
No one was injured and gardai are investigating the circumstances of the fire which saw a van go up in flames.
It happened between half past eight and nine o clock at an underground carpark of harbour apartments on Nelson Street.
