ASAP Rocky has been charged with assault in Sweden and will remain in custody until a trial takes place, according to prosecutors
The rapper whose real name is Rakim Mayers was arrested in Stockholm in July after a fight that was captured on video.
ASAP claims he acted in self-defence against men who were following his group.
The two men arrested with him have also been charged with assault.
A trial date has yet to be set.
President Trump tweeted last week that he would be calling the Swedish Prime Minister to discuss the case.
