A man in his 50s has died in a suspected murder in Co. Cavan.
The man was found unresponsive with serious injuries at an apartment in Blacklion.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 9.15 yesterday morning, and the man was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
A man in his 30s was later arrested on suspicion of murder.
He was taken for questioning to Castlerea Garda Station in Roscommon, where he can be held for up to 24 hours.
