A man has been arrested in Co Kilkenny after 40 thousand euro worth of cannabis was found in a car in Mooncoin.
The drugs were discovered when the car was stopped at a checkpoint on the Main Street at around 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
The driver, a man in his 30s, was arrested and taken to Thomastown Garda Station where he is being held under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
