Gardai are continuing to question a man about an armed robbery on the southside.
He was arrested after an off-licence was held up last night.
The capital's latest armed robbery happened at around 9.30 last night when a man armed with a hammer entered a shop on St John's Road in Greenhills.
He threatened staff and demanded cash.
The terrified workers handed over a sum of money and the man fled the scene.
Gardai arrived at the scene and spoke to the staff members before carrying out a follow-up search, during which a man in his 20s was arrested.
