Over 100-thousand people are currently employed within the transport and storage sector in Ireland.
Meanwhile, the work fore is ageing as the average age of a truck driver is over 50.
There'll be an aim to get more younger people involved with the industry.
Aidan Flynn from FTA Ireland says that the supply chain "is only as strong as the weakest link".
"We all have to work together to make sure that we are putting our best foot forward to attract younger people and women into the industry as we compete with very many other sectors".
