Aontú has withdrawn its application for an injunction at the High Court relating to its exclusion from a party leaders' television debate on RTE.
The party said it was due to lack of time to process the required paperwork.
Earlier, the party's leader Peadar Toibin, said it makes no sense to exclude one of the eight parties with Dail representation from the debate.
It's due to take place on the national broadcaster later tonight with seven leaders.
This afternoon, the party stated it will continue to contact both RTE and Virgin media about debate inclusion during the election campaign.
