Amphetamines with an estimated value of €135,000 have been seized in Co. Westmeath.
The illegal drugs were recovered in Mullingar yesterday.
The recovery was made after Gardaí stopped and searched a car in the Green Road area.
During the course of that search, cannabis worth around €2600 was recovered.
Then, in a follow-up search of a house in the Ashe Road area the Amphetamines were found and seized.
A man in his 30s was arrested.
He's being questioned at Mullingar Garda Station as investigations continue.
