Almost one thousand people attended a Sinn Fein rally in Cork City last night.
It was the first of five similar meetings across the country over the next two weeks, with the second taking place in Dublin this evening.
The meetings have been described by the Taoiseach as an example of a "campaign of intimidation and bullying."
But Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald says Leo Varadkar and those criticising the rallies are just worried about change.
Another rally takes place in Liberty Hall in Dublin this evening.

Phenomenal crowd here in the Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork to hear from @MaryLouMcDonald @PearseDoherty @davidcullinane & myself & more importantly to tell us what they want from a Govt for change. We are here to listen, learn & put the people at the heart of the Govt negotiations. pic.twitter.com/PxzqEAMD4r
