Nearly 2 million people tuned in for the opening episode of Derry Girls season 2.
Channel 4 says 1.8 million people watched the show last night.
It was the biggest programme among 16-24 year old viewers.
Last night's episode saw the girls try to figure out the similarities Protestant and Catholic families share.
But to be honest it was probably the differences the boys and girls came up with which gave the biggest laughs:

Our own Muireann O'Connell had her own questions about last night's episode:
WHY DOESN’T MICHELLE’S MAM WANT THE BIG BOWL BACK??? I won’t be able to sleep. #DerryGirls
