Alec Baldwin has shot dead a woman on the set of his new film.
Police in New Mexico say the American actor was using a prop gun.
The victim's been named as Halyna Hutchins, a 42-year-old director of photography.
She was transported via helicopter to University of New Mexico Hospital, but was later pronounced dead.
The director of Rust, Joel Souza, was also injured in the shooting but has since been discharged from hospital.
A spokesman for Baldwin said there was an accident involving the misfire of a prop gun with blanks.
No charges have been filed yet and production on 'Rust' has been halted.
